Pan fried lamb leg

Frozen lamb leg
Marinated with fish sauce, parsley and black pepper
Slow pan fried marinated lamb leg for 20mins
Lamb leg was tender and light taste. Pretty good. 

Roasted Spanish spring chicken

I bought a whole Spanish spring chicken from food expo only hk$78.

My receipe:
Marinated chicken by half lemon, fish sauce, basil, for 3hours.

Then set the oven to Bake function, temperature 190°c , put the chicken in the oven for 40mins.

Result: Yummy!

It was so tasty, tender. Yummy.

Steam egg

Egg is a simple ingredient but can cook in many different ways. I would like to share this simple steam egg receipe with you for busy and lazy people like me to have a healthy meal. 

Ingredients: one egg, 1/2 tea spoon of olive oil, little Basil, little black pepper, little sea salt or pink salt. 
Put 1/2 tea spoon of olive oil into a small bowl

pour egg into the little bowl
Add little Basil into the raw egg for great fragrance

add some sea salt or pink salt and black pepper into the raw egg. I added this fine salt from Japan, which has light plum favor in the salt. 

Cover up the little bowl to avoid the steam water goes inside the egg. Steam it together with still water by using high temperture, when the water starts to boild then turn to low temperture to steam for 5 mins. 

done! The best favor of Basil and salt! The egg yolk was just right, not over cooked.

  五指毛桃为岭南常用草药,以桑科榕属植物粗叶榕的根入药,其性平,味甘、辛,有健脾补肺、利湿舒筋之功,用于脾虚浮肿、食少无力、肺痨咳嗽、盗汗、风湿痹痛、产后无乳等症。此外,五指毛桃又是一食药同源的植物,在广东地区民间用来煲汤。近年来,五指毛桃这一宝贵的植物资源引起了药学工作者的高度重视,对其化学成分、药理活性及其他方面的研究不断深入,并证实补骨脂素为五指毛桃的主要活性成分之一,具有抗菌抗病毒、抗凝血、抑制肿瘤、免疫调节等作用。




Pan fried steak

My brother bought a nice steak for me. Sorry that I do not know which part of beef is this. I used the speacial plum sea salt I bought from Fukuoka, Japan to marinated the steak to see how was the taste.

plum sea salt marinated the steak for 15mins and use kitchen to absorb any water from the steak before put it in the pan. 
No oil on the pan. Add olive oil on the raw steak for both sides. Then pan fried the steak each side for 1min20seconds to make it medium rare cooked. 
The steak is tender and juicy. give it a try!

Home made salad

fresh salad vegetable from Central Market, much cheaper than supermarket
salad dressing: 
orange juicy, lime, olive oil, vinager, little black pepper

Bake mushrooms


Ingredients: 
med size mushroom
corn 1 box
tuna 1 can
tofu 1 box
mix corn, tuna and tofu together
stuff into mushroom
bake 15mins, 190c oven
sprinkle some black pepper for more taste.

娜姐火鍋


除夕夜朋友們到我家打邊爐。我很用心地選購食材如下。
火鍋湯底用番茄,白蘿蔔,豆腐,薑,雞湯,粟米,紅蘿蔔煲一小時三十分鐘,不含味精。

火鍋菜: 唐篙,蓮藕片,白菜苗,白苦瓜,紹菜,芽菜,馬蹄

肉類: 大陸鮮肥牛,日本長崎急凍鯛魚片,韓國午餐肉,魚片頭,墨丸,黑椒牛丸,炸魚皮,急凍生蠔,急凍青囗

醬料: 日本芝麻醬,日本芝麻油,日本餃子豉油, xo醬,辣椒醬,鮮紅辣椒,葱花
