Hotel Embassy

Karlovy Vary, Czech of Republic, is a beautiful city for people to drink natural spring water, spa, health treatment and stay young. One of the James Bond movie "Casino Real" was filmed in here, Hotel Pulp, the 5stars casino and hotel.
We were lucky to stay in this city during low season so the the hotel rate was relatively cheaper and less tourists visiting. Hotel Embassy building was built 150years ago, and then remodeled to become a boutique hotel 50years ago. We stayed at the 2bedrooms apartment suit. The living room, kitchen, 2bathrooms and 2bedrooms were clean and modern compared to the website photos. We wished to stay here for a few more days. We had a surprising gourmet dinner at the hotel restaurant.
The waiters were so sincere and friendly. The food was so good. Cezch is famous for roasted duck. This restaurant made the best roasted duck among Karlovy Valy and Prague.
We ordered one dozen French 2nd Grade oysters, they were so fresh!
Chicken salad, fresh and juicy.

36months Parma ham with honey dew. The Parma Ham was filled with the aged ham favor, not salty, delicious.

This was their signature dish, half roasted duck, with dumpling (Prague style) as side dish and cranberry juicy. The chef used oven to slow cook this duck for over 5hours. The duck skin was slightly roasted but the juicy underneath the skin was absorbed by the meat. The roast duck was so tender and juicy. We could not stop eating the roast duck!

Gravy for the roasted duck.

Dessert: rabsberry, vanila ice-cream and cream. Sweet.

Mixed fruit and chocolate fudge, very delicious and warm rich chocolate.

Figs pancakes with cream, figs were fresh, not the frozen ones.

Price: equivalent to HKD 1800 including 2bottles of Prosecco. Good deal!
